About us

Our team is led by Dr. Latifat Adeogun is a doctorally prepared Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in evaluating, diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions. She obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Nursing and Psychology from Chicago State University in Illinois. Dr. Adeogun also obtained a Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2016 and became board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner the same year. She then attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Dr. Adeogun has an extensive education and background in treating patients from ages 8 and up. Her evidence-based approach to treatment encourages moments of self-reflection and prioritizing beneficial personal relationships. For nearly a decade, Dr. Adeogun has proven time-and-time again that this approach is an invaluable asset to those struggling with mental illness during trying times.
